Dream Meaning #1: Green snakes as symbols for personal growth

Because the color of the snake is green, the dream suggests that a transformation is occurring in your life quite organically, naturally, just like when plants grow on their own. Perhaps you are discovering new aspects of yourself or nurturing a relationship or project. To dream of a green snake indicates that you’re undergoing personal growth and inner transformation.

Depending on the shade of the colored snake, you can find additional meanings regarding the quality and characteristics of your personal development.

Dream Meaning #2: Connecting with your true self

Green snakes are strongly associated with nature and the earth. What in you is moved by the presence of this snake in your dream? How does the creature or the dream relate to an earthy, natural part of you that is in the process of emerging?

As green symbolizes what’s natural, earthy, a dream about a green snake may mean that you are reconnecting with more grounded qualities in yourself. At least, it’s a call to pay more attention to what helps you ground and find enough energy to support you in living and expressing what’s true to you and in you.

Dreaming Meaning #3: Symbolic representation of new beginnings and positive change

The color green may point to some aspects of yourself or a project in your life that is not “ripe” yet; in other words, you are dealing with just the beginnings. Green on a snake is about the come back of the energy of positive change in your life. Depending on how the snake behaves in your dream, it could reflect how you are embracing or coping with the change: Are you experiencing it as aggression, threat, death of old patterns? Or are you at peace with this evolution?

Green Snake Dream

The green snake in your dream is then likely a call to take care of an opportunity for growth that you may otherwise be missing. It could indicate the need to nurture a bit more something that is just starting to emerge in your life, whether it’s new habits, a relationship or personal project.

Dream Meaning #4: Shades of green snakes and their meanings

The shade of the colored snake will tell more about the meanings conveyed in the dream. Darker greens generally have negative connotations associated with jealousy, perhaps deceit. Lighter shades of green express opening up to healing, opportunity for growth. A balanced, healthy green suggests strength in your personal growth, steadiness and determination. It could also be a symbol for serenity, calm.

Even though green is archetypally associated with nature, healing, and growth, your interpretation will benefit from looking within yourself to find out what green means to you personally. In addition, consider the behavior of the snake in the dream. It may give clues about how you are experiencing some changes that are occurring in your daily life.

Hello, awhile ago I had a dream about a lime coloured snake in my living room at first I wasn’t scared looking at it but then it’s body started to expand and stretch to the point where it covered my whole living room, I tried to escape by jumping out the window but it was too late I had only taken two or three steps towards the window and somehow the snake’s entire body had covered the whole entire room and I could only see the colour green (lime), I woke with a jolt and panicked to the point where everything seemed blurry. I know it wasn’t a scary dream but I really felt like I was suffocating after I woke up.

Someone please interpret this dream of mine,

    It would be much appreciated!
    Thank you:)

In my opinion – there is a need within and without that you have been ignoring and now is overwhelming. This could be in a relationship but I think it is within you personally. Some area of the personal that you are intentionally pushing away and have been for a very long time and now is not willing to be ignored; thus the “growing” to monstrous proportions. Is it your physical, mental, emotional or Spiritual health? Is there something you have been deceiving yourself about? It’s telling you -I Will not be ignored. There is no escape. You must deal with me now. You were in your living room – so perhaps – coming from “where you love/live????

I had a dream of a lime colored snake not that big was on my dash board as i got in the car. I picked it up to throw it out the car and it it bit my left hand in between my thump and index finger. I tried to get it of but the snakes bit just got stronger. After that I looked around yelling for help, then I woke up screaming. But its funny because I felt like the bite was actually there when i woke up..

Please help interpret this dream, Thanks!

In my opinion- Even though the snake was small(issue you have) it’s bite was strong(big consequences) – so I think there may be something in your life that seems inconsequential that you are thinking is no big deal but in reality is something that can have a huge impact on you. In this case the colour of the snake is also telling you to pay attention and take the issue seriously(bright colour in nature says “you don’t want to mess with me” most brightly coloured snakes are poisinous; in this case an attention getter) I also feel for some reason that there may be a relationship connected to this somehow…
You call for someone to help you but you awake before help arrives – could this mean you have to deal with this on your own? You casually grabbed the snake initially, you weren’t afraid, was this because you did not take it seriously? Just a little snake, no big deal… but when it latched on – wow! Way worse than you could have imagined. So I think there is an issue you feel is no big deal BUT you better deal with it now or it could have larger consequences. You are the only one who can deal with it since you awoke before help arrived. Go over in your mind anything in the past few months that you may not have taken as seriously as you should have; from there set about straightening out any misunderstandings that may have occurred be they On the physical, mental, emotional or Spiritual plane.

I saw a very similar dream, I saw that I was in a room there was light green snake , it comes close to me and tries to bite twice but I manage to save my self and then the Third time it bites me hard in the hand , between the thumb and index finger And then I wake up .

  • Danjie

I had a dream wherein the light green snake was suddenly sleeping on my bed… For two days! I was frightened of it first, until I got used to it. He soon sleeps on my limbs and I was not scares at all anymore. It even flicks its tongue like it seem to enjoy my company. I even tap its head and it squeezes me affectionately.
However, my mom soon realizes that there was a snake on my bed. I followed her instruction let the snake out on the bed and gently brought it to the bathroom. I tossed some crunchy chip on the bathroom, which the snake happily ate. But he soon vomitted once with the small stuff… Then vomitted the second time a really big rat. I git worried. My mom went to the bathroom then soon tossed me the green snake.s.. But he was no longer green. It was already brown and he looks so sick. His tail seemed cut off too, i dont know who did it, but it wasnt bleeding. Weakly, I let him stay on the kitchen table and gave him food — I saw a big dead rat, which I painstakingly washed for the snake — then gave it to the now brown snake. He started eating weakly.. I can tell his thankful…

And my dream got cut off there. Please tell me the meaning of my dream. It was too complicated but also, too vivid to be forgotten.

Well I did grab it and thrown it on the grass to came back another 2 times doing the same thing. The last time I threw it on the grass it started to wrap itself around something and looked at me.

WARNING: This was a really long dream. I was visiting a forgotten zoo. All the plants had become wild and vibrant while faintly glowing. The sky was white, like a mist or sudden impenetrable fog had settled down over, but it was far enough away that I could still see my surroundings. I didn’t notice too much about it besides the fact that I was for some reason wary of the fog, like I kept glancing upward. Like I was waiting for someone. Someone important who was dangerous and powerful, and they had suddenly become aware of where I was. I wasn’t scared because I knew that I was their equal-potentially even more powerful. Like I knew I could handle them, so I just wandered around the zoo awaiting their arrival. However, as I stepped down the stone path I noticed the vines that had been lightly covering the stones before had begun to recede back, so the path became more visible until I was suddenly in what appeared to be a garden…in the zoo? Then there was like a giggle and something white twirled past until it stopped on a bridge that was over a small, but deep river. By now I had realized it was a girl, someone who was close to me; that I cared about. She giggled and pointed at her feet and at a waterfall that was only a few feet down the river from where the stone bridge was. Her gaze never met mine. This waterfall then fell into a deep pit of water, which was supposed to be some type of enclosure for an animal. I noticed a tiny, white cement island that resided in the center of this enclosure. Surrounding the enclosure was a railing that had tiny greek/roman-like columns to of course prevent a person from falling into the enclosure. However, the enclosure appeared to be empty besides the green vines that hung from the sides. I looked back at the girl after examining the enclosure, but this time I noticed that the wind had started to blow gently. I opened my mouth to speak, but a gently breeze seemed to steal my breath away. The girl was looking straight at me now, no longer giggling. Her eyes were wide and trying to convey some message and her lips seemed to be working out the words. Then she took one slender pale finger and held it to her lips. I froze and watched as that same finger then drifted from her face and slowly pointed to her feet again. I felt a scream rise in my throat as I saw that the vines were in fact snakes. It was a snake enclosure, but they weren’t confined to the enclosure anymore, but laid there lazily awaiting some unfortunate prey to wander by. Luckily, they were sleeping, but their bodies were thick and full of muscle, and I felt the urge to run away. I couldn’t risk getting caught in their massive coils and strangled. Without a second of hesitation I bounded over the bring leaping between the snakes’ coils and landing lightly on the stone as I were dancing. Finally, to my relief I had made it across the bridge and had begun continuing my path before I heard a scream. Spinning on my heel, I watched as the young girl was tossed into the river and dragged into the enclosure by a snake. By now, all the snakes were awake and writhing around the enclosure in one giant green mass. Before I knew what I was doing, I dove over the snakes and down the sparkling white and misty waterfall and into the enclosure. I swam towards the girl who was curled up on island shaking with fear. As I climbed up onto the cement island however, she stood up and smiled at me, and then she pointed a finger at me. Suddenly, I felt myself become smooth, sleek, and scaly. She had turned me into a snake. The most gorgeous one there. I was smaller and more slender than most, but my scales shown more bright than the rest and glittered like emeralds. Then I felt the mist kiss the scales on my back as the fog that had been looming in the distance finally reached me. At last, I knew the person had arrived. I watched serenely as the largest of the green snakes, this one with dark green scales-they looked like jade to me-wrapped its tail on one of the strange column railings and lowered itself elegantly down the wall of the enclosure, so as to reach me. It made a sort of hook with its neck and watched me. Having some strange understanding, I skimmed over the water and reaching up, hooked my neck with his and allowed him to pull me up and into the garden. Then finally, it ended. Let me know what you may have interpreted from this. I have a few of my own ideas, but as I wrote, I only have a FEW. So reply if you want, I’d love to read your interpretation.

In my dream.I and some colleagues were chasing a green snake to kill and unfortunately we saw a big black snake as well.I killed the green snake first and then it fell where the black snake was and the black snake was trying to swallow the green snake. So i took a chance and killed the black snake as well. After that a lady asked so who killed all the two snakes and everyone was like that was me.A call from my mum woke me.please kindly interpretate this dream for me.I am terrified.Thank you

In my opinion, I would say that the green snake represented something that’s important to you and that you might feel like you’re losing it…possibly because of yourself. You could possibly be feeling competition with others over this. When the black snake comes to eat the small green snake you could possibly feel like you’re running out of time and because of this you kill the black snake, as to eliminate that possible threat of losing. Killing the snakes could symbolize you wanting to preserve what you think you’re losing. When the lady asks who killed the snakes it could represent that you yourself know you’re responsible and that what happens next will be your responsibility and only yours. That’s all that I got, but it could totally be different. Hopefully this helps! 🙂

I was standing outside with a crowd of people. Then i noticed something moving in the grass-green snake. It was getting into position to strike someone and i yelled “snake is behind you”. The snake struck a woman and turned turned me with anger. It then began chasing me. The crowd was watching with fear & no one helped. I begin saying “Oh my God”. Then i noticed a door glowing and ran for it. I stepped in and closed the door shut and the snake struck and slid down the glass part of the door. As it was slid, the slimey snake was being chopped to pieces as it slid down, but no one was doing it. It was like an invisible knife was cutting in into pieces. Finally its face slammed into the glass to look at me and i sited”you have to get permission and you can not do God’s prophet no harm. As soon as i finished, the snake exploded. I thank God for his protection and the dream went away as if someone turned a tv off and i woke up?????

I had a dream that I saw many animals having a symbiotic relationship with a green snake where it was attached by its mouth to them and you could see it sucking something from them and it moved through their body. I had a pain in my left leg and pulled my paint leg up to look and there was one there only it was under my skin. I tried to scratch it away and pulled its mouth loose but it worked back and latched on again. I was scared and thought of grabbing a knife to cut it out and then i woke up. Any ideas?
