Connect your Snake Dream with your Life
Here are dream interpretation hints to guide the analysis of your snake dream. A general interpretation method consists in associating traits that belong to the animal you dreamed about with situations in your waking life or aspects of your personality. You may find that the following generic snake characteristics are present in your dream, as well as in your daily life.
- Snakes are wild, untamed animals that cannot be trained. They are beyond our control.
Interpretation hint: Look if you are currently experiencing feelings or a situation that feel that way in your waking life; look withing to see if you need to pay attention a an untamed part of yourself that needs more space to express itself or develop harmoniously.
- Snakes are unpredictable. They tend to strike by surprise; they appear unexpectedly and disappear as fast as they showed up.
Interpretation hint: Can you associate these qualities with a fear you may be having or your own behavior when facing a challenging situation?
- They primarily evoke aversion and fear in humans.
When snakes and humans meet, there’s a danger that the snake will attack, mostly as a reaction to fear or feeling threatened.
- Snakes move close to the ground and are associated with the earth.
Interpretation hint: Feel into your own connection with the earth; whether you feel grounded, with your feet on the ground or not; how you relate to your primal instincts.
- Snake shed their skin when they grow, leaving behind the old during their transformation process.
Interpretation hint: Snakes are great symbols for personal transformation; look at what’s changing in your life or in yourself or what you hope to change or leave behind in order to move on.
- Some snakes’ venom is poisonous, even deadly, if they bite.
Interpretation hint: Death or the fear of dying in a dream is not to be taken literally. It’s often symbolic of the death of the old and the opportunity to leave behind what you no longer need. It could also represent grieving a loss of something or someone who was important to you.
- They possess the antidote to their own venom.
Interpretation hint: Often, a challenging situation is also an opportunity to discover something new and take on an opportunity. Look at how this relates to your life right now.
Conclusion: Key Points to Enhance your Dream Interpretation
Here are two key points to refine the interpretation of your dream.
Reconnect with the Snake in your Dream
The snake featured in your dream is most likely a transposed image or symbol of something that’s actually happening or preoccupying you in your daily life. It’s important to remember and recall the presence of the snake as it was in the dream.
For example, you can project yourself back in the dream, recall all sorts of details about what the snake looked like, how it was moving, how you were feeling. You could even imagine you can ask the dream snake questions about its intentions, what message it has for you, etc. This will get you started in decoding what the snake in your dream could symbolize.
Snake Dream & Call from the Unconscious
When interpreting a snake dream, a key point is to keep in mind that the serpent in your sleep means you’re symbolically receiving a wake up call from your unconscious.
Dreaming about a snake is usually an indicator that you need to pay attention to something important that you perhaps have been avoiding or that has escaped your awareness until now. Interpreting your dream will help you discover what it is and what you could do to about it.
When you’re dreaming of a snake, you can use your interpretation to encourage positive changes in your life. A snake dream can function like a two-sided coin: For each negative feeling in the dream, such as fear, apprehension, anxiety, or confusion, there’s an opportunity to realize something positive that will serve you in your waking life.
Bonus: Snake Symbols in Popular Myths and Traditions
The symbolism in a snake dream is primarily anchored in the personal life of the dreamer. Because the snake is a powerful symbol in many traditions and cultures, a snake dream can also be influenced by a wider meaning given to the snake or serpent in one’s culture.
In the Judeo-Christian tradition, the snake tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is tinted with negative connotations and a symbol for temptation, evil, and sin.
In the Hindu tradition, Lord Siva wears a snake around his neck, as a representation of the control of dark forces and temptation. It also symbolizes the power of kundalini, the life force.
In ancient Greek mythology, Medusa is a Gorgon, represented as a woman with snake hair who can turn into stone whoever she looks at. According to the psycho-analytic perspective, it is a symbol for castration or repressed sexual energy.
Another popular Greek myth is about Aesclepius, Greek god of healing and medicine, who inspired rituals where snakes were used. Today, the rod of Asclepius is what we know as the Caduceus, symbol for modern medicine. In our dreams, it represents the opportunity for healing.
The feathered serpent from the Aztecs of South America is a symbol for the creator of life.

The snake was on my head I was scared of it. Then someone took it off me and it was a tiny snake with a hot pink head and bright blue body. It was so pretty and I was no longer scared of it. I was taking to it and wanted to pat under its chin.

I saw the following dream:
I was running to catch my college bus.I reached a place where I saw a snake on the ground. While I was trying to cross that place, I felt that the the number of snakes has increased. There were so many snakes that I was not finding any space to put my feet there on the ground.I was simply trying to escape.
I have seen this type of dream a few times.
Please interpret.
I dreamt about a rushing water like a flood coming towards me and on it are two huge and long snakes swimming really fast. First, the other one chased my friend and suddenly it came towards me. It chased me all through the flood and i fell on a pit full of water and the snake caught me there. I was very scared and i woke up.
yesterday i had been reading some astrological interpretations of algol, the fixed star, with regard to the natal chart. i have been trying to decipher the meaning of having this on my midheaven, creating a t-square with pluto/ascendant and moon. then this morning i had a vivid body sensation during a dream of a snake moving erratically through my body, just under the skin. it seemed stressed, like it was trapped and wanted out. i felt fear because it didn’t belong there and i couldn’t understand why it would be there.
in my dream the snake wasn’t biting me, but a stranger was walking with me through a jungle and i walked through a body of water and came out on the other side. then the stranger did the same except hundreds of cottonmouths began biting him and wrapping their bodies around him. it was a little intimidating but i wasn’t panicking. i just stood there and watched it happen…like he deserved it. I’m not sure what it means to see the snakes bite someone else…especially the fact that i came out of the water unscathed and the stranger did not
I dreamt of 3 snakes in my house last night. Two of them were small but poisonous and one was a hugy phython. The phython was in my bedroom. At first I was afraid of it but then realised it had no intentions of hurting me. The snake somehow got under the carpet and I had to step over it as it seems to be everywhere. I was only afraid when the snake was hungry but I caught two large rats in a shoe box and fed it to the snake. I also felt bad for the rats. The other two snakes were loose in the house. I was worried since I did not know where they were. My mom came over to visit and I remember I wasn’t sure if I should tell her about the snakes since it will only scare her. It is weird since I have never dreamt of snakes before. The phython seemed so real.
I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. In my dream there was a huge python in our house. I wasn’t really afraid of the sanke, more surprised. She was huge, she was also a mama. She had laid eggs near the kitchen. My dad was also in my dream. We both share a strong dislike for these creatures but instead of trying to kill it or get rid of it we were trying to help her nest her babies. Even though we weren’t scared we were still cautious around her. We waited for her to move away and wanted to move her eggs to a more suitable nesting area, but she came back and curled herself around the eggs. She didn’t look threating but she just looked at us so we backed off. Since we could no longer relocate her and her eggs we decided to just cover all of them up in blankets to help keep them warm. I’m not sure what this dream meant but I know it meant something
hey snakemama, congratulation! according to my parents and this dream dictionary, when ur pregnant and is dreaming about snakes, it means ur going to have a baby/ies, but since its a mama snake, u might have a baby girl coming soon.
I just remember bits and pieces of my dream. There were all these little snakes everywhere I went in this dream. All differnt colors but all really slender and small but they moved so fast. I was terrifyed every time that i saw one and couldn’t help but let out a scream or yelping everytime that i would stumble upon one of these little snakes. It started with just a one or two then there was multiple snakes sitting/ slimeing around together. Can’t stop thinking about the odd fear I felt durring this dream

I dreamt of being at home and seeing snakes under the stairs after pulling away a small access door. Then my dad (who in real life is 73 years old and I am a grown adult) in the dream grabbed the snakes and took them outside and cut off their heads. Going outside then during this dream I saw snake holes all throughout the yard and I saw big snakes moving underground in these holes. They were everywhere but I walked calmly and found my dad and told him about the yard being full of snake holes and snakes moving all in them and I woke up.
I dreamed I was somewhere like a house and had just come through a door and this big brown viper appeared And someone was with me but I couldn’t see who it was. I said to the person its a viper and it was going to strike but I told the person I couldn’t see to go on and I would take care of this snake.I then grabbed the snake with both hands and killed with my thumbs I crushed his head and there was blood where I left the snake in front of the door that I came through.
In my dream the snake was just a symbol of a snake, someone told me that the symbols predicted your future and I saw two snakes. The first was looking at me and it had a symbol on a chain around its neck, the second had a symbol covering it’s face and had the word ‘Creation’ under it. I was trying to work out what it meant when I woke up.
In my dream, I come home and my roommate has killed the snake it is left on my bedisde table coiled up it was a rattler and the head was cut off. What could this mean?
Hello, the snake was a pet boa constrictor, it was a pet, I wanted them to put the snake in its cage, and they would not. I finally picked up the phone to call animal control. As i hung up the phone i remembered a past experience with a venom snake. My nephew held that snake in his hand and as he passed by me i seen the inside of the snakes mouth. My niece placed the snake back in its cage, I went up to look at the snake while it was in his cage. The snake kept on turning and constricting like she had something that she was killing!
my dream was I was at an an amusement park on a ride, ferris wheel or roller coaster not sure. While sitting in the ride snakes were released.A cover was around me, the bigger snake crawled up to me beneath the cover lookin straight in my face with tongue out. There was a pit of snakes below , I was told to jump in
I had a dream about a whitish snake coming behind me and opening it’s mouth constantly . It was almost like it wouldn’t leave me alone.
the snake was crying out loud looking at you. FAILURE……………SIGH
Snake Eating Snake
I was in an apartment and an old lady gave me two bottles of pills to help me and then I noticed a snake. Then there was another snake. I didn’t want her pills and was going to bring them back to her, but also because she didn’t have much money wanted to give her something else, a gift. I found a bag of coffee. It was gold colored and said Christmas on it, so I thought I would give it to her.
Then I saw one snake eating (swallowing) another one. Then another snake eating (swallowing) another one. They were big and dark colored. Then a snake was chasing my cat. It was a rattle snake and I realized I had to call 911 to come and take it away. Then I noticed that the front door was open and that there were two packages by the door, holding it open. Then I see a cat on the counter top in the kitchen. It was orange with a very small head and grey tips of furr on the ears and it was licking the top of my cats head. I realized it is almost 6 pm and I still have to call 911 and I am in a panic. I wake up with my heart pounding.
39 years ago, I had snake and rat nightmares that kept me from sleeping for 3 months ( I had just gotten married)
Last night I dreamt thar 3 or 4 snakes were in my room ( I think bedroom) they were all lined up coiled at the opposite wall ( exterior). I was terrified that they were getting in, but my husband was coming with a plastic bag to take them all away. I didn’t actually see my husband in the dream. I’m terrified these nightmares will start again. What happened
I dreamed about snakes last night so here is it .. the snake bit me then one morning i saw some scars in my skin then the next day snakes got out from my body I mean so many snakes O.o its a bit creeping me out …
I dreamed last night of a snake and a salamander. I was living in a house unfamiliar to me. I walked into my bedroom and a black and gray (linear stripped) snake went into the closet. I opened the closet and began pulling out the contents, trying to find the snake. I discovered a basement. I started pulling out floor boards. I saw a red salamander with black dots in a recessed crevace in the floor & the snake disappeared from my view. I pulled back more boards. The basement was a ‘man cave’. There was a big black or dark blue recliner, refrigerator, bar, and a table. I went outside to get a shovel thinking I would kill the salamander and the snake when I found it. When I returned to the closet, the salamander started to leave the spot where it was. As I started climbimg down into the basement I woke up.
I got this dream in the early morning say about 3AM. Dream is that , i am going to my aunt house (Occasionally i have heard that snakes cross across their house) along with my mother to attend some function. I have my nephew(2 months baby) in my hand and am sitting on a wire bed. Suddenly a snake(cobra type) approaches me. With the fear that nothing should happen to the baby, i turn opposite side of snake and quickly drop the baby far from it and then come in front of that snake. First i think that it will not harm me and i stand still. Slowly it approaches in front of me. I volunteer myself by showing my right hand towards it. Then it opens its mouth and punches my index finger. I am rushing to a pharmacy and asking for anti-venom ointment. Following me, my mom also comes saying, she also got bitten similarly by that snake. With this i woke up threatened from my dream to reality. But even after waking up with consciousness, i could feel pain in the index finger(the same place) where in the dream, the snake bit me. Fortunately i had got this dream just a day before Nagar-chathurthi (one of our traditional practice where married women pray to Lord Nagas for the long living of their husband and the day next to it is Nagar-panchami(people pray for the long life of their sibling especially, their own brothers). Is this to signify anything to me about that religious practice? A reminder ? or Anything to Warn me ? Please provide your comments me on this and help me to sort out my confusions and anxiety!

sure or not you were fingering some one?
I have had two recent dreams of snakes:
1. I am walking through an ancient courtyard among a few men who I think are speaking to me but they are not. I sit down on a stone bench and feel something on the back of my bare leg. Once I begin pulling at it, a scaleless snake emerges and slithers off. I immediately feel something on the back of my opposite leg and once again begin to pull a snake from the back of my leg. This one is light brown and bright green and attempts to strike at me as I am pulling it out but I protect myself with my opposite foot. Another snake exits the back of the same leg but this one does so on its own and very calmly and slithers away.
*crazy enough, one week later I was met by three different snakes while collecting geodes from a river bed and then a black snake during a hike*
2. The second dream took place at outside of my friends house under her carport. A lot of her family members were there and it seemed like a gathering or party. All of a sudden we realize that there are snakes everywhere, on car tires, on stairs, the ground – all different levels. I began to become anxious and tried to go to the back yard. Everyone screams for me not to go, don’t run, don’t turn around and then a snake bites me on the back of the right leg. I freeze. Her cousin, Mike, comes up behind me and removes the snake calmly by the head. I ask him if it was poisonous and he says no. I can feel the venom flowing through me though and it sends a calm and almost euphoric feeling through me. Then I decide to walk around to the front of the house and again see snakes everywhere. Once again they tell me to not turn around, not to run and stay still. I close my eyes and all of a sudden feel and hear a ringing coming from my jacket pocket. It is an orange phone that is not mine. Cousin Mike appears to tell me that it is my phone now and that it is for me.
Help! I feel that their is an important message being sent to me that I am not understanding. ANY input would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
you are so screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe you are a re bigger snake. thats y its running away from you
Told u Rite. U r gone alredi. Adioz. say hi to hell u BIG SNAKE.If there was an ANACONDA you would be KINGCONDA.
Several of my family members and I were walking in what appeared to be dry country. As we walked down a small hill towards a street we noticed several fish lying around and snakes were feeding on the fish. To my surprise, some fish were still alive. There was no water in sight. We weren’t scared, simply shocked at what we saw. We continued our walk to the family house and had dinner and socialized as families do. Somehow, I appeared outside at the street where the snakes were. Now the snakes are bigger and attacking people. Two snakes had swallowed adult women and there was another snake not far from them attacking a child while the family of the child was trying to free the child. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful. At this time, I became anxious. I ran back to the house to tell my family proceeded on our journey back pass the snakes. I wasn’t scared but my daughter was terrified. I was anxious as we walked by the very wild hissing snakes. We were never attacked but they were all around us hissing with their fangs in plain sight. The snakes were black with brown designs on their back.
Hi, My dream is that I am in the woods with one of my dogs. I look below and there is a large (anaconda) type snake slithering at my feet. It is huge. I feel intense fear. We try to be a still and undisturbing to the snake as we can be. I sigh relief as he is gone. Then start to relax. Suddenly as we start to leave the snakes head is looking at me as it has discovered I am there.
My fear is paralyzing.
My daily life is coping with a borderline mother and a a pattern of the same traits in my fiancé. Trying to heal and understand that. I can’t remember my childhood.
Any replies would be appreciated
I was married to a borderline pd for 12 years, who turned into an abusive alcoholic. His mother was schizophrenic, but completely non violent and passive. I have so many regrets about not paying attention to the warning signs (real, not dreams), that I would tell to not be with this person. Love clouds our judgement. Get educated, read up on borderline pd and their erratic behavior and how to leave or stay with them. Stop walking on eggshells and I hate you don’t leave me are 2 good books about Birderline Personality Disorder.good luck
Last night I dreamt that there were snakes everywhere. me and my son were walking and my daughter was behind and there was this huge snake the size of a dragon or something and it just swallowed a man who was walking past us, my daughter was behind me and my son and she screamed so i ran over to get her away from the snake and showed her the shape of the man inside the snake. Then we got home or to my friends house (im not sure which) and there were snakes everywhere trying to bite my sone foot and we were then in bedroom surrounded by snakes, the only place there wasnt any snakes was the bathroom. I was really scared in my dream and so were the kids, there were other ppl there too with children, maybe my friends, I cant remember. This dream has freaked me out…can anyne shed any light on what it mite mean? All the meanings ive read online have confused me and freaked me out even more?
So don’t dream much for the last 10-12 years and when i do i don’t remember them as clearly as all of you seem to have mentioned.
Now my dream has snakes in it but its a weird dream.
So i dream walking around in a garden which is like my own backyard only a lot bigger. Then in like a flower bed along the boundary wall there are piles of pythons of actual python size that strangely are lying dead as i approach the other end of the yard I urn to look back and i find this totally unbelievable four legged mufti-headed prehistoric looking monster that is probably the size of a rhino and that is what seems to be killing thee pythons and now it has spotted me and is heading towards me at full charge and i sort of close my eyes and feel like something jumps over me and takes on the monster but when i open my eyes i don’t see what killed the monster just the corpse of it with the necks and heads severed all over the grass.
yes i was extremely restless when this happened and no i haven’t watched any movie having anything like the dream in it. no nat geo snake documentaries, no reptilian crap or any other fantasy movies. was not even reading something remotely like this. and strangely this dream happened in the afternoon while i was taking a nap and when i woke from this, i turned over and slept for another 2 hrs.
What am i to you make of this?
Last night,I saw two snakes near my bed one was black and the other I dont remember.I was coming towards me,all around me the whole night..I bit me twice on my left arm.The sleep was very disturbed,I was sleeping and was awake at the same time..
I was scared all the time,as it is yesterday it was monday (day of lord Siva in his favourite month),It was a big yellow snake lying rolled up on the road while I was returning from my college. And also I see them very frequently and am quite a lot scared of it….
I Dream that some poisonus snkes lying under a tree infront of my house.from that one moved in to water. some crawling on the same tree.some crawling on land
I dreamt that 2 small snake rolled around my ankle and planted there teeth and tighten up , 2 snake rolled around my wrist and did the same .it was in the middle of the night in my bed .then I was worried didn’t know what to do if I should remove them or not .I woke up a bit later ( still in my dream ) and saw the snake still there but it hurt me more it was a bit dark and I went in the bathroom and took them of .when I look at my body I had tattoo all over my arms and legs unfinished some because I took the snake of to soon . The tattoo where native american and meant my love for my girlfriend and some other signs . Then I wanted to have them continued so I went back to sleep hoping the snakes to come back to roll around me that the tattoos continue getting done because it was unfinished when I went back to sleep I woke up ( in reality), I looked at myself and no tattoos hehe but what a beautiful dream and tatoos . I WOULD LOVE AN EXPLANATION. Thanks
I had a dream last of walking on a bridge made of tree branches over a lake. A friend that betrayed me was beside me and I started walking back across the bridge again leaving my ex-friend behind. when I was walking I noticed the wooden bridge collapsed in the water and two yellow snakes slither out of the water and stare at me.I was scared they were going to hurt me but they just slithered back into the water but as they disapeared back in the water and I had a feeling the snakes were going to suprise attack me from behind.
I dreamed of a snake wrapped around a fish that was flapping in a pan of dishwater!! What does that mean?
I dreamt of snakes in a box, lots of them. Then, all of a sudden a black slimey snake was in my mouth and I was desperately trying to pull it out, I dwasn’t scared, just anxious, when the snake finally came out, I felt relieved and then I wakened up from the dream, I’ve never dreamt of snakes ever in my life before this, Barbara.
I was watching a child with their small yellow python around the shoulders and being calm and not aggressive in any way. as the child approached, the snake turned towards me, with it’s tongue flicking as it usually would. All of a sudden the snake struck out at something behind me. It did not touch me at all in anyway and as the snake struck what ever was behind me, I woke. No fear was felt, I was not panicking in any way. it was more the fact that it struck at something behind me. I do not know what was behind me, i could not feel or sense anything at all.
I am in a room in a house, and in the dream,am horrified to see the appearance of a grey, scaly snake winding itself around the walls. It comes out of nowhere, and have seen it in my dreams before. As I try to exit the room, while it glides around the walls, it positions itself right in front of me, and lunges its head straight at my head. I hold out my hand, to protect my face, and it bites the right hand…and then strikes again. I cannot escape from it, and hear my father’s voice in the background..”I told you not to do this!”….as if he had warned me against doing something.
I wake up feeling very scared, uncomfortable, wanting to get away from the striking snake.
I had a dream about two snakes that I thought was dead. I thought the two snakes where dead so I picked them up and placed them in my truck in the front passenger seat to take to my grandmother. When I placed both snakes in the front passenger seat the black snake started to move and then I jumped out and my cousins ran over and open the door to let the snakes out it began moving around on the ground and then I woke up.
Today, I had a dream that I was in my house and, next thing I know I saw something from the corner of my eye but it had moved really fast. So I got up and looked to see if i saw something there and I didn’t see anything. So when I turned around, it was a snake near the couch I was sitting on, I cant really remember what color it was at first but I feel like it was orange. Anyways I got extremely scared and quite confused because I’m wondering how in the world this snake got in my house and where it came from. So I’m yelling and calling my father who was in the room with his door closed, and he’s not even paying attention to me, and he didn’t come out the room. So the snake kept disappearing (literally) and then it kept popping up in an area that it was no where near. Eventually the snake ended up near my kitchen, and I happened to have like I guess some type of butcher knife in my hand, and I chopped the snakes head off, but when I did that the snake kept moving, which creeped me out even more. Then it disappeared again, and it was no where to be found. I’m was too scared, I was standing in my hallway in shock looking around, and then my dad finally came out the room, calm as ever. I’m telling about the snake and he’s acting careless and not even really believing me. All of a sudden, up above the door near ceiling there were then two snakes,…. My father looked straight at it and act like he ain’t see nothing, my mother then came in the house and I told her about them and I tried to show them to her and they disappeared again, and no one still believed me. Im still quite confused about this dream.
I had a dream last night where I came across a woman with loads of reptiles, I was thinking to myself whilst approaching her, seeing loads of people around her, that I wanted to hold one of the animals, any of them apart from the poisonous looking snake because it looked like it would bite me, then I went up to her and the snake latched on to me, I stayed fairly calm even though I thought its venom would kill me, the woman showed me how to get rid of the venom by squeezing it out and then the snake continued to follow me, biting me, but it didn’t bother me any more and I just squeezed the venom out and got on with things. I don’t know what this means because most of the meaning are related to being scared of the snake and I didn’t feel fear except for when I first saw it. I can’t remember where I was or who the woman was, she wasn’t someone I know but her face looked like someone I’ve seen before in a way, off the tele or something. The snake was fairly small but was a yellowy green colour with neon green eyes which is why it looked poisonous to me. Also I don’t have a fear of snaked, I’ve held one before, but the dull coloured ones that aren’t venomous.
about a month or so i had a dream, there was a viper snake hidden under sum dirt and leaves, i knew it was there, but it wasnt attacking me, when someone walked out of the house , im not sure if it was mine or sumone elses, i told them and warned them that there was a poisonous snake there and i pointed where it was.. whomever i told did not believe me and i kept insisting to be careful. well they didn’t listen to me and went to poke with a stick, an orange belly and lime green on top colored viper came out and looked at all of us with its fangs out, i jumped on a brick fence but the snake attacked them not me….. Thats one dream, last night i had another dream, this one was that i had a big rattlesnake as a pet, it never attacked me, in my back yard there were a couple other ones i knew about being there but they were small and didnt really bother me.Then i had people over i dont remember why, and well came to the case that they had children so i warned everybody about my rattlesnake and the ones that were loose in the back yard, well i dont know how, but one of the kids got bit by my big rattlesnake on the leg , i just heard screaming and i ran out back to see what had happened. I remember i told them to take the kid to the hospital ,but everyone seemed to not care,so i was just so mad but didnt do anything, i tryied carrying my snake but it seemed to me like they had done something to it before the kid was bit, so now the snake was resisting to be nice and i had to kill it with a machete.. and then i woke up.
I am very scared of snakes and in dreams they are warnings. my latest snake dream was a weird one, i was walking towards a friends property and along the drain on the curb there, i see two or more logs lying in the grass. as i move walk along the road i become aware of a movement in the grass and my 1st instinct is that i must find something to kill it, i can see it is a snake coming slowly towards me, it is an peachy colored snake but i stand dumbstruck because instead of a head this snake has the head of a phallus. my 1st instinct is that i must protect my 7 year old daughter from a/the threat. i am still a bit shocked by the dream, my astrologer said it was a time where a lot of people dreamt about snakes, but then again no one reported a weird dream like mine.
my concern is that the snake represents someone that is close to me. a friend has been asking me to lend him money (every once in a while, but it accumulates) but he has problems being in a serious relationship ( we have a friendship with benefits when it suits him) and the money i am helping him with is money that i am suppose to use to take care of my daughter, it is money provided for her by her late father.
So yes, i do see snakes as warnings, in the back of my head i also have this fear that i must protect my daughter from someone that might try and molest/hurt her. my astrologer has been warning me for a long time to stop lending him money.
i apologise to anyone that might get offended by my dream
I dream that I won a snake as a pet. So I brought it home. After I brought it home (the way I bring the snake home is letting the snake wrap around my right hand), the snake gave birth to many baby snakes. After awhile, I started thinking maybe the snake could be poisonous (Snake is still on my arm) so i held its head and open its mouth. Force the tooth of the snake on my glass table and indeed, transparent venom came out from the snake’s tooth. That was when I started to become afraid that the snake is dangerous and could harm me. So i decided to throw away the snakes by putting the baby snakes in a shoe box. However, I’m too frightened to touch the snake so I left it in the living room.
What could that mean?
ever consider that the prize is a situation that has come into your life that you initially had a very positive response to, then you might start realising that maybe there is more to the situation than meets the eye, then the situation starts snowballing. you are actually to afraid to see you how bad(baby snakes) it is so you hold its head and open its mouth and force its tooth on your glass table. holding its head and open its mouth of a snake takes courage , so maybe you are not really so afraid of the situations, glass table and transparent could mean that you could maybe see the extent of the problem, but the transparent venom frightens you.
you dont really know how to deal with the situation that is in your life so you leave the snake in your living room. for most of us the living room is a place where we relax and chill but it doesnt sound like you are going to be able to do that for a while until you figure out what this thing is that is scareing the crap out of you and you feel powerless to overcome.
just my version of the world, i have an astrologer that is the voice of reason in my head when my internal gps loses signal.
I WAS DREAMING ABOUT A SNAKE, I WANNA GO TP THE TOILET BUT THE WAS BUSY WORKING ON THE WATERPIPES SO NO ONE GOOD GO THERE, AS I WALK IN THE ROOM THERE WAS A BEIGE/BROWN SNAKE BUT NEARLY ANGRY TO ME. SO I WALK PASS HIM TTO GO TO THE LOO, ABOUT 3 TIMES I PASS HIM AND THE NEXT MOMENT IT WAS COMMIMG FOR ME, I GRAP A STICK PUT HIS HEAD IMMEDIATLY UNDER THE GROUND FOR THE GROUND WAS MUDDY AND EASY TO PUT HIM UNDER. SO I WOKE UP IMMEDIATLY.
ANY COMMENTS
at first there’s a venom which is black in color that is walking beside me,after a minute ago that venom became snake. I was setting on the chair and eat cup cake, while eating, the snake take my cup cake because they wanted to eat too,so I kill one of them but the other snake still fighting and biting me…my mom and my sister are telling that I’m always dreaming of snake…I am thinking that i was still in the Philippines, then that woke me up.
was standing in water with my eyes right above eye level. A large gold snake was swimming towards me with his mouth fully open showing big fangs. His mouth slammed shut right when he got to me and I woke up.
I’m walking along a bridge, that crosses a very large, clear lake (you can see right through to the bottom of the lake). The lake is filled with different sizes of striped snakes. Most of them aren’t very big, but I see this one snake that’s about as long as at least half of the lake floor.
I’m in some sort of grassy area and my partner is trying to show off a different type of snake that is rare. Not sure of how he got it. So its (the snake) underneath this tarp but no one is sure of whereit might come out at. I’m standing on the tarp as it slithers pass me while its still under the tarp and goes towards my partner and the person he’s trying to show. It doesn’t even try to do anything to me, didn’t even look at me it just kept moving at a normal pace. My partner finally sees it come from under the tarp, then for some reason my partner is trying to throw the snake in my direction and it changes form and yet its still a snake ( supposedly). As my partner is steadily trying to throw it at me, I’m continuously moving away from it, crying out for my partner to stop trying to throw it on me. Yet my partner seems to think its funny. It touched me a little bit yet I still was able to move out the way before the snake could touch me completely. Then I woke up.
your snakes changes its form when it gets to u but it is still a snake, maybe there is something that you and your partner have two different view points on about and it is something that is important to you but he might not neccesarily make fun of it, but he cant understand your point of view. it would be interesting to know the colour of the snake in your dream.
